Description

The Parish Church of St Mary is located on Rectory Road in Old Swinford. The church features a late 14th century tower, a nave built in 1843, and a chancel constructed in 1898 by architect J A Chatwin. The church is generally designed in the Decorated style. Additionally, the new churchyard and layout were designed by Sir Giles Scott. Although the listed buildings in Church Road and Rectory Road do not form a strict group, they collectively contribute to a historic picture that should be preserved.
