Description

The gates and gate piers on Drummond Street in Edinburgh were designed by William Adam around 1738. They consist of a pair of square-plan fluted and half rusticated gate piers that are banded and topped with urns. The gate piers are flanked by balustraded quadrants, which were created by Sir Rowand Anderson.
