Consultants' Offices (former Assistant Superintendent's House)

This building, originally the Assistant Superintendent's House, was designed by Auldjo Jamieson and Arnott in 1932. It is a single-storey, five-bay neo-Georgian house with a distinctive C-plan layout. The house features a wide, swept roof with deep overhanging eaves and a central entrance door that is deeply recessed under a raised projecting roof. The exterior is made of pink squared rubble with ashlar details, and the main elevation faces south within the undulating wooded grounds of the hospital. The building has an eaves course and small-paned glazing in metal casement windows. The roof is covered with grey slates and has a stone ridge, while the stacks have decorative scroll details at the shoulders and clay cans, some of which are missing.

Inside, there is a simple but largely complete 1930s interior, as observed in 2014, featuring a rear corridor that provides access to all rooms, along with timber doors and chimneypieces.
