Description
This garden wall, likely designed by Auldjo Jamieson and Arnott around 1930, incorporates 16th century carved panels. It features a formal, approximately symmetrical layout with a large canted recess at the southeast end, where the carved panels are inserted on the north elevation. The main section of the wall is constructed from sandstone rubble with a rounded coping, while the canted part is made of coursed stugged rubble with ashlar dressings and a squared ashlar coping. The wall also includes square plan gatepiers topped with rounded rubble cornices.
