Description

Late 18th century. 3-storey and attic, 5-bay, symmetrical tenement with shops at ground. 20th century pebble dash to floors above ground. Cornice to shopfronts.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central doorway to tenement with blank bay above; shop to outer right with 2-leaf panelled door and aprons to enlarged, small-pane windows; public house to left (25-27 Causewayside) with panelled pilasters between openings; regular fenestration in bays to outer left and right and to central, 3-bay, nepus gable; piend roof dormers flanking gable.

12-pane, timber, sash and case windows to floors above ground. Grey slate roof; coped stack to nepus gable; coped mutual stacks; moulded cans.
