Description

Earlier 19th century. 6 4-storey, 3-bay, classical tenements forming 18-bay terrace with shops at ground. Stugged, cream sandstone with ashlar dressings. Base course; uniform shopfronts; band course; cill courses, architraves and some cast-iron window guards to windows of floors above; cornice and blocking course.

W ELEVATION: central doorways to each tenement, with shops flanking to left and right; panelled doors; plate glass fanlights; regular fenestration to floors above.

Predominantly plate glass, timber sash and case windows; some 12-pane; some pivoted windows. Grey slate roof; coped ridge stacks; moulded cans.
