112 George Street in Edinburgh is a former classical house built in 1790. It is a three-storey building with a basement and attic, featuring three bays. The exterior is made of scabbled cream sandstone ashlar, which has been stone cleaned, with polished dressings. The entrance includes an architraved and corniced doorpiece with a glazed door and an original radiating fanlight. There are decorative cast-iron balconies on the first floor and bars on the second floor, along with a moulded eaves cornice and four Velux rooflights.

The windows are 12-pane timber sash and case. The building has ashlar coped skews and stone stacks, which are rendered on the east side, topped with grey slates.

Inside, the entrance hall features an enriched ceiling, while the former dining room is panelled, and the former drawing room has an enriched neo-classical ceiling.

The property also includes modern iron railings and a pair of original 18th-century wrought-iron lamp standards at the platt.
