Description

Early 19th century. Single storey over raised basement, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house. Originally 2 vertically divided properties. Ashlar at principal floor, stugged squared sandstone rubble to lower floor. Eaves cornice; band course; blocking course.

N (MAIN) ELEVATION: door at centre reached via perron across basement area. Wrought-iron railings curve to form balconette to left window. Entrance bay has been completely altered, door to left blocked as window and smaller door inserted in original opening to right. Windows in flanking bays, that to right smaller. 12-pane sash and case window. Basement stair to left. Modern door and window to basement. Modern additions to rear.

Gabled return elevations with rendered gablehead stacks. Graded grey slate roof; ashlar coping to skews.
