Description
The lamp standard on South Trinity Road was designed by E J MacRae in the early 20th century. It features a decorative wrought-iron design and is situated on a pedestrian island. The base consists of a triangular-plan plinth with engaged Doric columns. Above this, the shaft has consoles, anthemion detailing, and panels with a castle motif at the base. The hexagonal shaft is topped with a tapered decorative finial that holds a modern glass globe.
