Description

Circa 1820 with later alterations. Single storey with attic, 3-bay, classical house. Rectangular-plan, symmetrical. Droved ashlar with polished dressings; harled, NE elevation, rubble SW elevation. Base course, dentilled cornice, blocking course and raised quoins.

NW (JOHN STREET) ELEVATION: projecting central bay with raised tablet above 9-panelled door, now with decorative glass middle panels; plate glass fanlight above with ogeed pelmet; projecting block doorpiece. Windows to flanking bays. Slightly set back droved ashlar walls flanking with boarded doors to each.

SE (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen, 1994 (except roof-line to rear).

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof with platform at apex; apex coped stacks; coped skews and, from rear, small glass cupola.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALL: rubble and ashlar coping.
