Description

John Young, soon after 1779. 2-storey, half-sunk basement and attic, 3-bay classical former house. Droved cream sandstone ashlar with polished dressings. Eaves cornice. To centre bay, architraved corniced doorpiece containing steps to deeply set door and fanlight with wrought-iron lamp bracket; blind window above. Left bay with tripartite windows.

2-storey mews block adjoined to rear, containing garage and flat. Timber sash and case 4-pane windows. Ashlar coped skews; rendered stacks to W, stone to E; grey slates.

INTERIOR: not seen 1995.
