Description
This is a standard Edinburgh police call box designed by the City Architects Department, likely in the late 1930s. It is a classical rectangular cast-iron structure measuring 6 feet by 4 feet. The long sides feature two bays with pilasters, one of which has a door adorned with the embossed City arms. The short sides are single-bay and topped with open pediments that contain ribboned wreath decorations. All elevations have saltire-patterned glazing.
