Description
This is a standard Edinburgh police call box designed by the City Architects Department, likely in the late 1930s. The box is a classical rectangular structure made of cast iron, measuring 6 feet by 4 feet. It features two-bay pilastered long sides, with one side having a door that displays the embossed City arms. The short sides are each a single bay and topped with open pediments that contain ribboned wreath decorations. All elevations have saltire patterned glazing, and there is a siren located on the roof.
