Description
The police call box on Dean Terrace in Edinburgh is a standard design created by the City Architects Department, likely in the late 1930s. This classical, rectangular structure measures 6 feet by 4 feet. It features two-bay pilastered long sides, with one side containing a door that displays the city arms. The short sides have a single bay each, topped with open pediments that feature ribboned wreath decorations. All elevations are adorned with saltire patterned glazing.
