119, 201 Portobello High Street, Edinburgh

119, 201 Portobello High Street is a later 19th century three-storey, three-bay Georgian revival tenement with a shop below, forming part of a terrace. The building is constructed of polished ashlar and features a moulded cill course at the first floor, a cill course at the second floor, an eaves course, and a cornice.

On the northeast elevation facing Portobello High Street, there are windows on each floor. The shop front has been altered and includes three plate glass panes in the lower section, with bordered upper sections. There is a modern panelled door on the outer right with a border-glazed rectangular light above it, and a roll-shutter at the doorway on the outer left.

The southwest elevation, which is the rear, was not visible during the 1994 inspection. The building has four-pane timber sash and case windows, with later timber pivot windows on the second floor. It features a slate piended roof and cast-iron rainwater goods. The interior was not seen during the 1994 inspection.
