Description

Later 19th century with later alterations (and additions?). 2-storey, 3-bay classical house paired with a 2-storey, 3-bay house to S. Painted E elevation; bull-faced render to side elevation and rear. Base course, mutuled and moulded string course, cill course to 1st floor, eaves course and cornice; slightly raised quoins.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 9-panelled door to centre, plate glass rectangular fanlight above, slightly raised quoining to margin; square recess with margin and corbels above at 1st floor. Window at ground at bay to left, broad window to 1st floor above (possibly once with mullion). Rendered canted window to ground of bay to right, panelled margins and cornice; bipartite window at 1st floor with panelled margins.

W (REAR) ELEVATION: single storey extensions at bays to centre and to left.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows to principal elevation except to 1st floor, bay to right, modern timber window; 4-pane timber sash and case windows to rear. Slate roof with glass box skylight to apex (bay to right); rendered and coped apex stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rendered with droved ashlar coping at front; bull-faced render to wall to rear.
