Description
32 Inverleith Place is a large, asymmetrical two-storey villa built in 1900, showcasing an English Jacobean arts-and-crafts style with a manorial character. The south front features a broad canted bay on the west side and a Roman Doric pilastered doorpiece topped with obelisk finials. At the center, there is a large three-light staircase window. On the east side, there is a projecting gable with obelisk finials. The villa has mullioned windows with transoms on the ground floor, which are fitted with leaded glass. The exterior is constructed of snecked rubble with ashlar dressings, and the roofs are slated. Additionally, there are single-storey outbuildings located at the rear.
