Description

The Palm Houses at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh were designed by Robert Matheson and built between 1856 and 1858. The structure features an arched parallelogram shape supported by Roman Doric pilasters. It has a two-stage convex glass roof and an octagonal section at the rear.
