Description
Inverleith House, located in the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh, was designed by David Henderson in 1774. This building features three storeys, attics, and a basement, constructed from rubble with dressed quoins. It has two-storey north pavilions that are connected to the main house by diagonal screen walls. On the north side, there is a semi-elliptical projection that contains a staircase and a later porch. The building underwent alterations by W W Robertson in 1877 and has been modified again recently.
