Description
Late 18th century; recast and converted by Ian Lindsay & Partners, circa 1970. 3-storey, 3-bay front to Pier Place. Grey ashlar sandstone to ground floor; rendered and whitewashed to 1st and 2nd floors. Dividing band course between ground and 1st floors; raised and painted concrete surrounds to openings. Tripartite windows in central bay at 1st and 2nd floors. 2-storey, 3-bay harled and limewashed facade to Lamb?s Court; raised and painted concrete surrounds to openings. Exterior stair with timber railings to 1st floor.
N (PIER PLACE) ELEVATION: central entry bay infilled with window; door to left; single windows in bays to outer left and right. Tripartite windows to central bay at 1st and 2nd floors (side lights blinded); single windows to both floors in bays to outer left and right.
S (LAMB?S COURT) ELEVATION: stairs to timber boarded door in central bay at 1st floor (No 1). Single window aligned above; single windows to both floors in bays to outer left.
2-pane timber sash and case windows to both elevations. Machine-made red pantiled roof with grey slate easing course and precast concrete skews. Harled chimneys to E and W with precast concrete copes and circular cans.
