Description
This building, located at 37 and 35A George Street in Edinburgh, is an earlier 19th century, five-storey, two-bay former warehouse that has been converted into flats. It is constructed of coursed cream sandstone rubble, with brick used for the sides and rear. An external iron stair provides access, and there are glazed doors in the left bay, with the fourth floor boarded up.
The windows are timber sash and case, featuring 12-pane and 8-pane designs. The roof is half-piended and includes a stone mutual stack, lead-covered skews, and is finished with grey slates. The interior has been adapted for residential use.
