Description

Hardy and Wright 1882. Free Gothic. Two-storeys and attic,

coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. Three bay front,

central door with semicircular fanlight, and gabled porch

with scissor roof truss, central bipartite over. Outer

ground floor bays have tripartites with stone mullions.

Bipartite to right with piended dormerhead. Gothic bipartite

in gablet corbelled from first floor with date in panels at

window heads, 2 small gablet dormers, one window piended

outshot set well back to west. South (rear) elevation has

central 2-storey 3-window semicircular bow with 2 small

gablet dormers. Outer bays have ground floor tripartite to

right and bipartites at first floor. Piended slated roof

with tiled crest. Fish scale slating at piended front

dormerhead. Tall rubble stacks, with ashlar dressings,

set off and moulded copes.
