Description
This building at 380 Ferry Road in Edinburgh is a semi-detached villa constructed around 1835-1840. It features a two-storey design with a front made of stugged ashlar and polished margins. The villa has a four-window frontage, with tripartite windows on the ground floor. Each villa has a doorpiece with a console, a panelled door, and a rectangular fanlight positioned towards the centre. The building includes corbelled cills on both floors, a band course on the first floor, a main cornice, and a blocking course. The original glazing remains intact at 380. The roof is piended and slated. The gables are built of rubble and have one window each, with end stacks. The rear elevation has two windows, along with single-storey piended slated wings. There is a garage addition to the adjacent villa at 378.
