11, 13, 15, 17, 19 East London Street, Edinburgh

This building, located at 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19 East London Street in Edinburgh, dates from around 1867 and is a four-storey, six-bay terraced plain classical tenement with shops on the ground floor. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar with margins and features a base course, a fascia band, and cill bands at the first and third floors. The second floor has projecting and bracketed cills, and the building is topped with corniced eaves.

The east elevation facing East London Street has ten bays at ground level, with a central common stair entrance that includes a fanlight. There are paired shop entrances in the penultimate bays from the left, flanked by 19th-century plate glass shop windows. Recessed entrances are found in the seventh bays and the penultimate bay from the right, also flanked by shop windows. The upper floors have regular fenestration.

The windows are timber sash and case, featuring both four-pane and plate glass glazing. The building has ridge stacks with terracotta cans. The interior was not seen in 1998.
