Description
Circa 1867. 4-storey, 9-bay terraced plain classical corner tenement with shop and public house bowed at ground. Sandstone ashlar with margins. Band course fascia band, cill band at 1st and 3rd floors, projecting and bracketed cills at 3rd floor, corniced eaves.
NW (EAST LONDON STREET) ELEVATION: 10-bays at ground, recessed entrances with fanlights in 2nd and 4th bays, flanking plate glass shop windows, common stair entrance with fanlight to centre; public house in bays to right, recessed entrance in pilastered and broken segmental pedimented door frame to right, windows to remaining bays; regular fenestration above (grouped 3-3-3).
Timber sash and case windows with 4-pane glazing, grey slates, ridge stacks with terracotta cans, rooflight.
INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
