Cuill, 2 Easter Belmont Road, Edinburgh

Cuill is a two-storey villa located at 2 Easter Belmont Road in Edinburgh, designed by Orphoot, Whiting & Bryce in 1928. The building features a near rectangular plan and showcases a mixed Arts and Crafts and Continental style, with a cream harling exterior and swept overhanging eaves.

On the south elevation, there is an advanced open arcaded loggia with a boarded door. The roof above the loggia slopes down and includes a gabled dormer. To the outer left, there is a two-storey gabled bay with a single window at the ground floor and a tripartite window on the first floor. To the right of the loggia, there are windows on both floors in two bays.

The east elevation features a gabled bay with a timber and glass conservatory at the ground floor and two windows on the first floor.

The interior was not seen in 2001. The villa has fixed and casement steel-framed windows with small-pane glazing, a grey pantiled roof, and three coped stacks.
