Description

  1. Single storey symmetrical 3-bay rectangular-plan villa with basement and single storey wings to basement. Cream painted sandstone ashlar. Base course; cill course; cornice; blocking course, raised at centre; architraved windows.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: steps up to doorcase supported by Greek Doric columns with pilasters behind; moulded band, cornice and blocking course, raised at centre, to entablature; timber panelled door with glazed fanlight; carved plaque to blocking course; single windows to flanking bays with blind balustrades below cill course.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof.

4 octagonal corniced stacks with corniced cans. Decorative wrought-iron balusters and handrail flanking steps to entrance doorcase.

INTERIOR: not seen (1996).

BOUNDARY WALLS: Coped ashlar boundary walls and gatepiers to street. Recent wrought-iron railings to boundary walls. Decorative wrought iron pedestrian gate flanked by painted pilastered entrance with cornice and blocking course, raised at centre.
