Agricultural Hall, 11-13 Valleyfield Street, Edinburgh

The Agricultural Hall, located at 11-13 Valleyfield Street in Edinburgh, was built in 1868 and features a single-storey, nine-bay Italianate classical facade. The building is constructed of ashlar stone, painted cream with terracotta details. The bays are separated by channelled pilaster strips topped with ball-finials. It has a base course, an eaves cornice, and a blocking course.

The principal elevation is symmetrically arranged, with a prominent pedimented bay at the center. This bay includes a tripartite triple-arched window that features a keystone and impost blocks. There are two-leaf doors with semicircular fanlights set in round-arched surrounds, which have cornices supported on consoles above in the inner left and right bays. The three outer bays to the right contain later openings with plate glass windows. To the left, there is a metal garage door and a modern metal and glass door in the outer bay, along with small circular openings in the second and third bays from the left.
