Description
The pedestrian gate and boundary wall at Baron Cliff, Shore Road, Cove and Kilcreggan, date from the mid-19th century. The gatepier is made of broad, rusticated sandstone and sits on an ashlar base. It features a blind narrow arch recess at the center, an ashlar cornice, and a graded ashlar cap. To the right is the pedestrian gatepier, which has a stepped parapet and a plaque inscribed with "Baron Cliff." The coping is rusticated, and the gate has chamfered arrises, though it is a modern gate.
