Description

The gateway at Achamore Estate dates from the late 19th century and is attributed to John Honeyman. It features four gate-piers that are connected by curved walls to two additional piers of the same design. The structure is square and constructed from ashlar stone, with moulded caps and bases. The low walls have rounded tops, and there are cast iron railings and gates with arrow-head designs.
