Description

The Gate Lodge at Achamore Estate in Gigha, dated 1895, is designed in a Scottish style and is a single-storey building. It features harled walls and a gabled slate roof. The lodge has a semi-circular porch topped with a conical roof, and the date "1895" is displayed above a window. There are gabled additions at both ends of the structure. The gate piers are also harled and topped with ball finials. Additionally, there are rubble garden walls flanking the drive.
