Description
The lighthouse at Glencallum Bay was built in the early 20th century for the Clyde Lighthouses Trust, following a standard design. It features a short octagonal steel tower that stands on a solid concrete base. The tower has an octagonal lantern with triangular panes, which is surrounded by a railed gallery and topped with a pyramidal roof that has a swivelling ventilator.
