Description

Mid 19th century; rehabilitated 1983. Symmetrical 2-storey with attic, 3-bay plain classical style flatted house forming end of terrace with projecting central stair tower at rear; entered at front (No 28) and rear (No 26). Random rubble sandstone; raised, polished margins. Raised lintel course; droved rubble quoins; droved rubble long and short surrounds to openings; projecting cills. Random rubble at side.

E (COLUMSHILL STREET) ELEVATION: replacement small-paned door at ground in central bay; single windows flanking at ground; single windows in all bays at 1st floor; 3-light slate-hung canted dormers in bays to outer left and right.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slate roof; raised skews; corniced rendered apex stacks to N and S; various circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1996.
