104 Clyde Street East, Helensburgh

104 Clyde Street East in Helensburgh is an earlier 19th-century building that resembles two semi-detached houses, but it has been converted into three flats. The structure is two stories high with an attic and features a symmetrical principal elevation with four bays, along with a single-storey, single-bay half-piended wing. It is constructed from cream and pink sandstone rubble, with ashlar margins and raised margins around the windows.

On the north elevation facing Clyde Street, there are two pilastered doorpieces at the center, although the pilaster on the left door is partially missing as of 2003. There is a single window in the outer bay and wing, with four evenly arranged windows on the first floor. The attic has two later 19th-century, three-light gabled dormer windows and a modern rooflight located to the center right.

The west and south elevation has a plain gable wall, with a full-height canted fenestration bay to the right and later dormers. Most of the windows have been replaced with uPVC. The roof is covered in grey slate, featuring ashlar coped skews and sandstone gable stacks with moulded cans.
