Description
1B Narrow Wynd in West Wemyss is an early 19th-century building that originally consisted of a small row of two-storey houses. These have been converted into flats, with a restaurant that is now closed, situated on sloping ground. The exterior is harled with stone margins and features an eaves lintel course.
On the southwest elevation, which is the principal side, there is a modern door with a small window to the right, located in a bay to the right of the centre at ground level. To the right of this bay, there is another window, and to the left of the centre, there are three windows, one of which has been converted from a door. The first floor has five windows arranged in a pattern of one, three, and one.
The first-floor windows have plate glass glazing in timber sash and case frames, while the ground floor features fixed plate glass glazing. The roof is covered with modern pantiles, and there are harled stacks with thackstanes and ashlar-coped skews.
