60 Main Street, Campbeltown

60 Main Street in Campbeltown is a tenement building dating from around 1813. It stands three storeys high with an attic and features a symmetrical three-bay design. The building has a cement-rendered and lined exterior facing the street. There is a cill course at the first-floor level, raised margins around the windows, and projecting cills. The shopfront is symmetrically arranged, with doors on either side of the central tenement door and period windows in the outer bays.

The first floor and attic are fitted with 4-pane timber sash and case windows, while the second floor has 12-pane windows. The shop windows are made of plate glass. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are timber piend-roofed and slate-hung dormers above the outer bays. A cast-iron gutter runs along the eaves, and there is a rendered multi-flue mutual stack at the southeast end of the building.
