96-100 High Street, Burntisland

96-100 High Street in Burntisland is a tenement building dating from the later to late 19th century. It stands three stories tall and features three bays, with original shopfronts on the ground floor, set within an irregular terrace. The exterior is made of stone-cleaned ashlar, complete with an eaves course and stop-chamfered arrises.

On the north elevation facing High Street, there is a modern door located to the right of center, accompanied by a plate glass fanlight and large shop windows in the flanking bays. To the outer left, there is a panelled timber tenement door with a plate glass fanlight. All original openings have basket-arched heads, and there is a cornice at the ground floor. The first and second floors feature regular fenestration.

The first floor has a 4-pane glazing pattern, while the second floor has plate glass glazing, all within timber sash and case windows. The shop windows also have plate glass glazing. The roof is covered with grey slates, and the building has ashlar coped skews with moulded skewputts, as well as coped ashlar stacks with some cans.
