Description

Clyde Cottage, located on Alexandra Parade in Dunoon, is an early 19th-century building designed in a plain Georgian style. It has one storey and a basement, with the ground floor finished in harled render and the basement in painted ashlar. The building features a gabled slate roof and ashlar chimneys. The classical doorway is framed by engaged Ionic columns, an entablature, and a pediment. Access to the entrance is provided by steps that have a cast iron balustrade. Additionally, there are ashlar gate-posts with splayed weathered caps.
