Description
This is a long, two-storey warehouse located at 4 Meridian Street, facing Montrose Harbour with its curvilinear south gable end. The gable features simple classical detailing, including a circular opening, a panel inscribed "1905", and a segmental hoodmould with coped skews and double skewputts. The building is made of grey/brown sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings, which is typical of many traditional structures in Montrose. There are blocked openings on both the ground and first floors, some of which have rolling door insets. The pitched roof is timber-framed, covered with grey slate, and has a piended design at the northeast end.
