Description

Craigo School is a single-storey building constructed from snecked rubble, featuring round-arched details, dating from around 1850. Attached to it is a two-storey schoolhouse built around 1875, which has tall piended roofs with a bell-cast design and a semi-octagonal feature in the re-entrant angle. The architectural style is attributed to Aitkenhead and Mason of Arbroath.
