Spearmill is an early 18th-century building with a rectangular plan. It is constructed from rubble and slate, featuring chamfered openings. The gable wall, which once supported a wheel that has now been removed, is made of fine ashlar and is corbelled out at the top. There is also a higher kiln that has been gutted.
