Former U.F. Church, Logie Schoolhouse

The Former U.F. Church, Logie Schoolhouse is a single-storey building from the late 18th or early 19th century. It has a rectangular plan, is six bays long, and features a piend roof. The structure is primarily made of clay, with some sections faced in stone, brick, and cement render. Originally built as a school, it was converted for church use in 1929. The northeast elevation includes an early 20th-century gabled porch made of timber and corrugated iron, which has a gabled timber bellcote and is flanked by later lean-to bays of timber and corrugated iron. The interior consists of one large room, which was originally the schoolroom, and two smaller rooms along with a vestibule that originally served as the schoolmaster's house at the southern end.

Inside, the former schoolroom features dado height timber panelling, and there is a cast iron range in each of the smaller rooms. The ceilings are slightly coombed.

The building has mostly four-pane timber casement windows, with a 12-pane sash and case window on the southwest elevation. The walls are made of clay with render, and there are areas of stone or brick cladding. The roof is covered with piended Welsh slate, and there is a brick ridge stack with a thackstane at the southwest end, marking the division between the schoolroom and the smaller rooms.
