Description

The ice house at Fisherhills is a large structure built with rubble and features buttresses. It has a cemented exterior and a stone construction with a brick vault that spans approximately 25 feet. Inside the first chamber, there is wood and packed sawdust lining, along with a Gothic-style lunette. The building dates from the late 18th century and includes a lean-to porch.
