Description

Dated 1876. Single storey, rectangular-plan hearse house. Stugged rubble, stugged ashlar dressings with droved margins, slate roof. Flat-coped, joggle-jointed skews, bracketted and gabletted skewblocks, decorative cast-iron finial to E, central corniced ridge stack.

E GABLE: tall, wide round-headed carriage entrance, arch with fixed boarding from springing point, boarded doors.

S ELEVATION: opening to left, boarded at bottom, 6 fixed panes to top; 8-pane sash and case window to right.

N ELEVATION: blank.

W GABLE: door to right; N boundary wall of churchyard abuts to left.

INTERIOR: not seen.
