Description
The Fingerpost in Tigerton is a white painted cast iron sign post, likely installed after 1930. It is situated at a T-junction near the War Memorial. The post has a cross-plan design with ropework moulding at the inner angles and a rounded apex topped with a ball finial. The columnar shaft supports three arms, each featuring black painted raised lettering that indicates distance, name, and includes a pointing finger. There is no evident maker's mark on the post.
