Description

84 High Street in Arbroath is an early 19th-century, three-storey and attic classical tenement building with three bays. It features a shallow dentilled pediment and has later shops added to the ground floor. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and includes cill courses and a blocking course. The upper storey window openings have raised, moulded architraves, with cornicing at the first storey and a pediment at the centre. To the far left, there is a six-panelled timber entrance door with a fanlight above that leads to a flat above. The building also has a pair of piended and canted dormers.

The upper storeys predominantly feature plate-glass timber sash and case windows, while the ground floor has plate glass windows. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there is a corniced stack on the north gable and a brick stack on the south.
