Description

42 and 44 High Street in Brechin is an 18th-century building featuring a three-storey front made of coursed rubble with three windows. The structure includes shops and has a four-storey section set back, which features a semi-elliptical arch leading to Bishops' Close. At the rear, there are remains of a pend that leads into the channonry, along with a semi-circular stair turret. The upper part of the rear elevation has been significantly altered.
