Description

The Grange Lodge, located on Grange Road in Monifieth, dates from around 1880. This single-storey building is designed in an L-plan, which was modified to a Z-plan with an addition. It features rubble masonry and a slate roof, along with a base course. The windows are primarily sash and case, although the addition includes modern metal frames. Some windows are segmental-arched with raised margins, and there are moulded stacks present. Notably, a 17th-century armorial is inserted into the north wall of the garage.

The property also includes six gatepiers made of tooled ashlar, which are moulded at the angles and topped with pyramidal caps.
