Description
Miller's Cottage and Byre, located at Mill of Clatt, is a 19th-century structure built from granite rubble with slated roofs. The mill is designed in an L-plan and is a single storey on a high floor, although the water-wheel has been removed. Some machinery remains, and there is a kiln in the west arm.
The miller's cottage is also a single storey with a garret and features two piended dormers. The windows have been altered, and there is a plaque commemorating Rev Andrew Murray on the front wall. At the west end of the cottage, there is a lean-to dairy.
The byre has a pig-sty attached to its north side.
