Description
St Cyrus Primary School, built in 1867 by William Fettis of Brechin, is a single-storey building constructed from coursed rubble. It features an asymmetrical composition in the lancet style, highlighted by a bellcote above the arched entrance, which has a quatrefoiled tympanum. The gable on the left side includes four lancet windows and a quatrefoil, while the right side consists of three bays with a shouldered single light, a three-light window with an arched head in a gablet, and three shouldered lights. The roof is slated with overlapping skew slabs and adorned with cross finials.
